hey familia!! sounds like everything is going great!! things here are doing good. i've finally started to get normal so i've been buckling down to make up for my slow first three weeks. we've got another baptism date, but the sad thing is is that our other one fell through.... but o well we're still working with her so she will eventually be baptized. we met the president and his family on friday and we've been in Juarez since. its really sketchy and we hear gunshots a ton. but we're in our house and i never have felt un-safe. this sunday was fast sunday and i love kids testimonies. they sound a lot like mine right now :) short and sweet. but the members here are very strong and loving. we go to an internet cafe and pay like 10 pesos (about 80 cents) to use the computer for an hour. i do have a new mailing address but its in Mexico so i don't expect packages from you or anyone else. e-mails will have to do :)

LOVE YA FAM!!!
Hola Elder,
How are things going? Guess where I’m emailing you from? Nauvoo!! We are just got back from the temple. It was amazing!! Last night was a downpour!! We were going to see the pageant, but it was rained out. It was actually just the dress rehearsal, but we thought it would be less crowded then tonight which is the opening night. We’ll see what the weather is like tonight. It still looks cloudy and it is HUMID!! I think we might be feeling a little what you have down there. I feel like a ball of sweat constantly!! I can’t wait til you come home and we will for sure have to come to Nauvoo!! So how are you doing? Are you climatizing? Is your stomach problems better? We read in the Ensign that you got a new mission president. Have you met him and his wife? Do you have to go to Chihuahua to meet them? What about mail? Do we still send things to El Paso? I sent a package on the 28th of July, so I hope you get it soon! I mostly just sent treats, but I also sent some wipes that I thought you could carry around with you if you want. I thought it might help you feel fresherJ. You haven’t said where you have to go to email. Is it at a members home or library or where? What else do you do on you P-day? Well, this is going to be short today, but just know you are loved. We even put your name on the prayer roll this morning!! And we even bought you a souvenir while we were here in Nauvoo!! You’ll just have to be surprised (in a fewwww months!) So anyway, that just shows you that you are always in our thoughts even though you are far away!! Keep doing what you’re supposed to and I am so glad you are feeling better about your conditions there!! WOW! You are a wonderful example and we love you soooo much!! Keep the spirit close and rely on our Heavenly Father for all your needs! Love you lots! Mom
PS. Dad says hi and love you! Wayne says Hola! OK, everyone else here says hi, too!!! (Crista, Megan, Brent, Leila, Ben, and Adalyn)
