Happy P day!
P day means laundry, etc for you, but for me, P stands for Patrick's email! I'm on this morning at 8:00 so that I can send it before you get on the computer this time! You sounded so good in your last email, I hope things are still great for you. I hope your Spanish is coming easier, though I can't imagine it will ever become easy...at least at this stage of the game. Keep praying for that gift of tongues! How is the rest of missionary training going? I'm sure you have some real spiritual experiences. (still looking for Jeffrey Holland's video, by the way) Stay close to the Lord! WOW...you're going to find yourself in Mexico in no time!!
I just finished another semester at school..yea! However, summer semester starts next week..so not too much of a break. I think I will just be taking some online classes so that we can still do things this summer. Did I tell you we are going to Megan's probably the end of June? That will be something to look forward to. Maybe we'll be able to see the arch.. We'll send you a post card!
Grandma N. had a little surgery on Monday. She had a lump in her neck that they didn't know if it was cancerous or not, so they removed it. It all looks clear..no sign of cancer, so that's a relief! She sounds good and says she doesn't feel too bad, just keep her in your prayers.
So.. did they change your tri-companionship? It's too bad about that elder that went home. It's a tough thing to be a missionary, so keep your spirits high and keep your goal in sight! Like you said..lose yourself in the work! If they did change you, which companion did you end up with? It sounds like it doesn't really matter cause they're all great guys!!
Well..I'm anxious to hear about your week and let me know if you need anything. I'll probably try to send one more package before you head off to Mexico! Keep doing the things you need to do to build your testimony and strengthen you spiritually! Love you lots! Mom




hhaa speaking of the Jeffery R holland vid, guess who came to visit the MTC yesterday?? JEFFERY R HOLLAND!!!!! YEAH MOM< HE CAME AND TALKED TO US!!! HE LOOKED AT ME TWICE!!!! haha it was awesome!! i get to get on the computer early today cuz we had an extra break. yeha they split our trio up :( but thats ok cuz i still get to be with Elder McDonald! he's my favorite outta the crew. spanish is pretty crazy and hard but its good to keep working at it! by the way, i might send you my ipod so you can put more music on it for me :) I NEED MUSIC its really depressing actually.... i miss music soo much.... so yeah throw some more good music on it if i send it!! and i need a different charger the one i have doesn't work with this pod.... weird.... it works with my big one tho.... anyway this week has been just like all the other weeks, good and learning a lot, but SOOOO SLLLOOOWWW!!! thats ok tho cuz that just means i'm learning a lot!! my brain is a muscle and it needs to be worked if i want it to be strong ;) that Jeffery R Holland talk that i was at yesterday was really cool too!!! it makes me want to step up my game. he talked about being an example for the younger kids in our lives and i immediately thought of all my nieces and nephews. then he said when i come home from my mission, they deserve to see Captain Moroni come off that airplane and they need to continue to see that shining example in thier lives. they will get no less. stand among champions!! thats my new motto ;) they deserve the best so i will give them my 100%! that really hit me hard and i don't want to be the one bad example in thier lives.... that would be horrible.... thanks dad for the letters of incouragement!! its great to hear from you and to hear that all is well!! give grandma my love and let her know she's in my prayers!! let everyone know that i love them and miss them a lot!!! mom i love you, happy mothers day on sunday!! :) i was gonna send you a letter but all the mothers day cards were gone in the bookstore :/ so i'll let you know how great of a young woman you are in my life!! you are a shining example for anyone that crosses your path and i love you sooooo much!!! i get to call you when i go to the airport!!!!! so i'll get to talk to you in like 3 weeks!!!! well i got to go my time is up but i love you!!!!!
