Elder Arko's FIRST LETTER!!

Patrick sent his first letter and I am copying it word for word and his spelling too......

iHola familia! :) It's Friday afternoon here at the MTC and I am loving it! You can feel the spirit soooo much here! The rules here are pretty strict, but it seems like if we practice common sence, we'll be fine. I'm in a tri-companionship with 2 wonderful Elders. Elder Raleigh and Elder McDonald will be there names, and I love them. Elder M. is 20 and so is Elder R. These are the best Elders to be with. They pretty much Rock. I'll send some pictures as soon as I can. Yesterday we met with our Branch Presidency and they're pretty cool Brothers. Strict as all get-up, but cool. We also had a cool lesson where we, as a district, went into investigators "homes" and taught them about the Restoration. The first one went Great! We went in, got to bear (remember these are his words and his spellings) our testimonies and share the lesson and the spirit was there. The next two were less easy. We didn't really get to know their families and we were more trying to convince, not convert. That's what I've learned the most from these past 2 and a half days. (really it seems I've been here longer...) To listen, Love, and let the spirit convert, don't use words of flattery. I love you and I do miss you. (Not homesick yet. Whoo Hoo!) Let everyone know that I love them. I'll get to write an email on P-day, which is Wednesday so you'll hear from me then. thanks for the letter Mom, it was very uplifting! Still going strong!

So I got a little more time to write you so I figured, what the heck I'll throw in a couple more words. My District Leader's name is Elder Gohsalves. He's really cool. My District is way cool and I'm glad that they are all with me. It's an awesome time. The food here is medeocre and the orange juice is horrid! Thank goodness there is milk and apple juice to drink! The orange juice is good, but gives you the runs like crazy! In two hours you'll be clean though, so if your sick, it's the way to go. Well it's bedtime now so I'll e-mail you on Wednesday!
