Elder Arko Enters the MTC!!

Today was the day I (Jana, his sister) was dreading the most!! We went to the city on Tuesday night so that this morning we could get together with him for one more time before he left. We went to Larry and Andy's house to have breakfast. It was so much fun being together and talking to Megan and her family on skype.

Here is our fearless Elder. We decided to do a before and after picture. So this is before the mission..... and stay tuned for the after picture to come in 2 years!

After all was said and done and the goodbyes were said, (I was doing really well not crying) I went to my car to make sure my kids were there and Kyler was in our van crying and I asked him what happened, (cause usually my kids will fight and hurt each other.) He told me that he was going to miss Patrick so much! That got me hard watching how much my child was going to miss his uncle. So I told him he should go give him one more BIG HUG!!!

and that is just what he did!!

My Parents were the only ones that could take him to the MTC, and they just drive up to the curb and drop them off.

There were four other missionary's standing there waiting for them to pull up. On was his guide for the day.

One more hug for Dad....

He didn't even have to worry about his luggage the other Elders got it for him, so you know he is in good hands!

I absolutely love this picture!! Just look at that smile on his face!! We got one more wave goodbye from him and a smile that can change your world. I love this kid so much and I am so proud to say that I am his sister. I want him to know that I am behind him and support him 110%, and that I am so proud of him!! I am sure your whole family is too. I love you Patrick!!
